Campaign Synopsis

Chill is a horror RPG that the players all share the innate ability to see the supernatural. They see what others ignore and are oblivious to.

 They may love or hate other characters. These relationships will be tested as the story enfolds in Chinatown, a section of San Francisco.

Character Profiles - Hank


Hank is a middle aged homeless man living in downtown San Francisco. Earlier he has worked in construction and then he started hearing voices all the time and couldn't sleep. This caused him to lose his family and job. But most recently the voices in his mind have stopped. And now that he can actually focus on what is going on around him, he is trying to pick up the pieces of his life. But then he wakes up one morning, and he figures out that he can control what he 'hears' in his mind!

Character Profile - Kathy


Kathy grew up in San Francisco Mission district and is the daughter of Sally. At a young age of 13 her mom started becoming senile and she had to move out of the house and live with foster parents. She has kept a distant relationship with her biological mother.

She is currently working as a security guard in downtown San Francisco. She is familiar with firearms and is in good shape.

Character Profile - Carl


Carl knows Sally and Hank. He gets around downtown SF and tries to be as helpful as he can. He is a veteran of the initial Iraq war. After leaving his military service he had a tough time finding work and wanted to stay close to his Son that lives in Oakland.

Sally had been a successful businesswoman in the 1990's. Then after her parents passed away, and a brutal divorce, she suffered from alcoholism and depression. But just recently she has been learning some new tricks that have helped her with her money problems!

Character Profile - Jack


Jack is a young man who has been working as a bicycling courier in downtown San Francisco. He personally knows Hank because Hank is his uncle. When Jack was younger Hank actually helped him in a personal situation. So Jack tries to find Hank on the streets each day and give him some food, water, or blankets.
